The United Kingdom has been severely impacted by Storm BERT, which has brought heavy rainfall and flooding, causing major disruptions to daily life. According to British media reports, at least five fatalities have been confirmed due to the storm's devastating effects.

Storm BERT has led to significant travel disruptions, affecting road, rail, air, and ferry services across the country. The storm's reach stretches from London through West England to Wales, with travel routes heavily impacted.

In response to the rising threat, the Environment Agency has issued 161 flood warnings and 213 flood alerts across England. In Wales, 22 flood warnings have been issued, while Scotland has been given four flood warnings due to the ongoing severe weather conditions.

Reports indicate that in Southern Wales, certain areas received up to 100 millimeters of rain, while in Scotland, strong winds with speeds reaching up to 70 miles per hour have led to further warnings.
